Victoria Parks and Recreation is striving to broaden recreational opportunities for the community of Victoria. Our goal is to improve our programs, events, and athletics programming each season.

TODDLERS ON THE TRAIL

Join us every Wednesday from 10:00am-11:00am! Each week brings a new theme and hands-on activities to enhance motor skills, social interaction, and cognitive development. Parents are encouraged to participate in creating a bonding experience in the great outdoors. Our schedule for this month will be as follows: March 4: MLK Park Instruments Day, March 18: Pine St. Park St. Patrick's Day, March 25: Grover's Bend Sports Day

SENIOR BINGO

Join us for fun and excitement as we host an afternoon of BINGO! This program is FREE and open to all seniors. Program is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Community Center. Prizes, giveaways, and complimentary refreshments will be provided for those that attend. Walk-ins are welcomed, but registration is highly encouraged. Interested parties can RSVP online via CivicRec. Our team is available to assist you Mon-Fri from 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm. Bring a friend and join us for your chance to win when you call "BINGO"!

Join us Saturday, March 7 at the Riverside Park Special Event Area for a refreshing Self-Care Series with Kim Evans, LMT. This is a chance to focus, connect, and calm your mind and body. We’ll work on increasing mobility, balance, and self-awareness, while discovering practical self-care techniques to integrate into daily life. This experience is for everyone—no matter where you are on your journey. Children under 12 are welcome but must be supervised. The class will begin at 10:30AM (45–75 minutes), be sure to bring a chair, blanket, or mat + hydration and come as you are and take the time your body and mind deserve. More dates to follow!

GAME NIGHT

Game Night is BACK! Calling all gamers! Mark your calendar for an evening of fun. Whether you're into role-playing games, strategy games, card games, or miniatures, there's something for everyone. If you joined last time or are new, come hang out, play some games, and have fun with us. Friday, March 13 from 5:30pm-9:00pm at the Victoria Community Center. Share this out, tag your game night crew and don’t miss out!

STROLLER WALK+TALK WITH VPD

Hey moms! Join us for a fun and relaxing morning out with Fit4Mom Crossroads. We’ll start with a stroller-friendly walk to get some fresh air, move our bodies, and connect. After the walk, stick around for Coffee with Cops, where you’ll have the chance to chat with local officers from Victoria Police Department, ask questions, and build community over a warm cup of coffee. March 19 starting at 9:30AM at De Leon Plaza. If you're looking to meet new friends, everyone is welcome! Bring your stroller, walking shoes, and a friend if you’d like. Sign up is free. We can’t wait to see you there!

SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION

Join us as we welcome the first day of spring by embracing themes of balance, renewal, and growth. The official time of the Spring Equinox is 9:46 AM. What We’ll Be Doing: Planting Flowers – Symbolizing growth and fresh beginnings Nature Walk – Observing the changing season and connecting with the outdoors Setting Intentions – Reflecting on personal and community goals for spring Come celebrate the changing season, enjoy the outdoors, and welcome spring with us in a meaningful way.

DOGS IN THE BARK

Join us Saturday, March 28th at the Riverside Dog Park from 2:00pm-4:00pm! Explore healthy options for dogs to eat, obedience training, and daycare option! We will also have Spot on Grooming for all your nail trimming and filing needs.
