The City of Victoria is closing portions of Riverside Park as the Guadalupe River rises due to heavy rainfall.
The boat ramp, Fox’s Bend and Grover’s Bend are closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
All other areas of the park are expected to remain open. Residents should not attempt to enter barricaded areas.
Parks & Recreation staff will monitor the weather and the river level to determine whether additional closures will be needed.
The closed areas of the park are expected to reopen late Friday.
