Updated May 12: The boat ramp, Fox's Bend and Grover's Bend will remain closed through next week as river levels are expected to remain high. Parks & Recreation will continue to monitor the river to determine when these areas can be reopened.
The City of Victoria is closing portions of Riverside Park as the Guadalupe River rises due to heavy rainfall.
The boat ramp, Fox’s Bend and Grover’s Bend are closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
All other areas of the park are expected to remain open. Residents should not attempt to enter barricaded areas.
Parks & Recreation staff will monitor the weather and the river level to determine whether additional closures will be needed.
