The Victoria Police Department swore in three new officers during a ceremony June 2 at City Council chambers, 107 W. Juan Linn St. Shown from left are new Officers Jessica Bellan, Brittney Keil and Noah Wyatt, and Senior Patrol Officer Justin Surber. All three of the new officers are graduates of the Victoria College Police Academy. They must now complete a 20-week field training program alongside senior officers. After successfully completing this program, they will patrol the city streets and respond to calls for service independently.
