Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget of the City of Victoria for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, and Tuesday, September 5, 2023, 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 107 West Juan Linn, Victoria, Texas. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to speak and/or present written material on the subject of the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $1,471,165 or 5.21%, and of that amount $220,054 is tax revenue to be raised from new property values added to the tax roll this year.
