[ARCHIVED] City partners with Victoria ISD to air district’s content on TV15

PHOTO #1: “Titan TV,” a TV show produced by Victoria East High School media production students, is part of Victoria ISD’s content that airs on the City of Victoria’s cable channel, TV15. In this still image from the livestream at www.victoriatx.gov/tv15, students prepare to visit Texas State University to learn about journalism and mass communications.

PHOTO #2: The City of Victoria’s cable channel, TV15, airs PSAs from Victoria ISD about the district’s programs and policies. In this still image, Ashley Scott, executive director of Communications and Public Relations for Victoria ISD, explains campus safety regulations that have recently been updated.

In addition to keeping residents informed about the City of Victoria, local government channel TV15 is also a place to keep up with Victoria ISD board meetings and watch informative and engaging content produced by VISD students and staff.

The City partners with local agencies to air content on TV15, the municipal television channel managed by the City of Victoria Communications & Public Affairs. The City has aired locally produced content from Victoria County and Innovation Collective on the channel.

The City has partnered with VISD since last year to air VISD school board meetings on TV15, and Communications & Public Affairs coordinates with Victoria ISD’s Communications and Public Relations to add content to the channel.

“Our local partners help to support our mission of keeping residents informed about their community,” said Communications Director Ashley Strevel. “We’re excited to be able to share VISD’s content and messaging with TV15 viewers.”
