[ARCHIVED] City seeks sponsorships for Bicentennial Ball

The City of Victoria will host a Bicentennial Ball to celebrate Victoria’s 200th anniversary, and sponsors are needed to help make it an evening to remember.

Jeff Bauknight“With the community’s involvement, our bicentennial date will be an event worthy of Victoria’s rich history,” said Mayor Jeff Bauknight. “By becoming a sponsor, you’ll be showing our residents your support for this celebration of Victoria.”

What is the Bicentennial Ball?

On April 13, following the dedication of the new Martín de León and Patricia de la Garza statue at De Leon Plaza, the City will invite residents to the Bicentennial Ball at the Victoria Community Center.

This ticketed event will offer a chance to dine and dance while enjoying live entertainment featuring local talent. Local and statewide elected officials will be in attendance.

Proceeds will benefit Keep Victoria Beautiful and future Bicentennial events.

Become a sponsor or underwriter

The following sponsorship tiers are available for the event:

  • $10,000: Empresario (title sponsor; only one available) – promotional opportunities and two eight-person tables (premier seating)
  • $5,000: Alcalde – promotional opportunities and two eight-person tables (premier seating)
  • $2,500: Regidor – eight-person table
  • $1,000: Emprendedor – half-table (four seats)

The City is also seeking underwriters to support entertainment, decorations, desserts and other features of the event. Underwriter opportunities range from $2,500 to $5,000, and underwriters will receive benefits including promotional opportunities, reserved seating and an invitation to a VIP cocktail hour.
