[ARCHIVED] City of Victoria celebrates lighting of H-E-B Christmas Tree

Santa Claus and a young woman prepare to throw a ceremonial light switch on a Christmas tree

Mayor’s Youth Council President Katie Jane Kopecky and Santa Claus, accompanied by Mayor Jeff Bauknight, light the H-E-B Christmas Tree during a lighting ceremony Dec. 1 at the City Hall courtyard. The 30-foot tree will remain on display at City Hall through January and will play a musical light show every half hour during the evenings.
