Callis Street is closed between Plainview Street and Ozark Street due to a sanitary sewer line collapse that occurred Jan. 26.
The collapse does not have any impact on water service because the sanitary sewer system is not connected to the water distribution system. The City will temporarily run a bypass line in the area to maintain sewer flow. Residents do not need to take any action as a result of the collapse.
The City is coordinating with contractors to repair the sewer line.
All businesses and homes in the area remain accessible. Through traffic can avoid delays by seeking alternate routes.
