PHOTO: Representatives of the Victoria City Council, Victoria Police Department, Victoria Fire Department, City of Victoria Municipal Court, FGMA Architects, construction contractor SpawGlass and project management firm AG/CM gathered Feb. 21 with additional state, county and local officials and members of the community to celebrate the groundbreaking for Victoria’s new public safety headquarters, which will be located at 2525 N. Main St. (near Airline Road). The 70,000-square-foot facility will house the Victoria Police Department, the Municipal Court and the Victoria Fire Department administration. The centrally located facility is designed to accommodate Victoria’s public safety needs for the next 25 years. Construction is expected to finish in August 2025.
