The Victoria Police Department, Victoria Fire Department, Victoria Office of Emergency management, Victoria Police Foundation and University of Houston-Victoria have partnered to host the 2nd annual “Up-and-Coming Female Leadership” conference 8 a.m.-3 p.m. July 16-19 at the Victoria Community Center.
The theme of the conference is “To Develop and Empower Young Women to be Leaders of Tomorrow.” Women leaders from each of the participating organizations worked to identify information that would benefit young women.
High school aged women will be invited from around the region to participate in the conference, which will better prepare each of them for college and/or the workforce and to learn the skills needed to thrive in today’s world.
The Up-and-Coming Female Leadership Conference committee has invited a total of 19 speakers with various experience to come speak at the conference.

- Thursday, July 19: “Mind Your Business” – Social Media Management and Interview Etiquette
