From Atlantic to Pacific, gee, the traffic is terrific—but the Victoria Regional Airport is helping residents rise above the traffic with extra flights during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons.
The airport has added flights to and from Houston on the following dates:
- Saturday, Nov. 30
- Tuesday, Dec. 3
- Saturday, Dec. 21
- Thursday, Dec. 28
These flights are in addition to the airport’s regular daily flight schedule. Residents can view available flights at www.flyvictoriatx.com.
The schedule was enhanced through collaboration between the City and the County to provide residents with convenient options when planning holiday travel.
“When residents are using our service to fly into Houston and then on to another location, having multiple flight times to choose from can help them to avoid layovers,” said Victoria Regional Airport Executive Director Lenny Llerena. “With our short lines and free parking, the Victoria Regional Airport takes the hassle out of holiday travel, and we hope that residents will keep their local airport in mind as they are making plans to visit loved ones.”
The airport will be adding flights in 2025 to accommodate travel around spring break, Memorial Day and Labor Day and throughout the summer. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
Fly Victoria Texas
The Victoria Regional Airport is served by SkyWest Airlines, branded as United Express, and offers flights to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The service uses a 50-passenger jet plane with air conditioning and a flight attendant.
SkyWest Airlines' affiliation with United allows residents to book United flights from Victoria to anywhere in the world. The airport also offers free parking to passengers flying out of Victoria.
The airport served more than 11,000 passengers (enplanements) in 2023, a 50% increase compared to the previous year. The airport is on track to record 14,000 enplanements in 2024.
