[ARCHIVED] Registration opens for 2025 TAAF Winter Games of Texas

TAAF Winter Games. Including corn hole, disc golf, e-sports, flag football, golf and pickleball.

The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Winter Games of Texas will return to Victoria in 2025 as TAAF celebrates its 100th anniversary. 

The 2025 Winter Games of Texas will include two weekends of competitions featuring amateur athletes from around the state. The following events will take place Jan. 18-19: 

  • Disc Golf: Riverside Park
  • Pickleball: Victoria West High School
  • Swimmers in a poolSwimming: VISD Aquatics Center
  • Wheelchair Basketball: Victoria East High School

The games will continue Feb. 15-16 as the City and its partners host cornhole, flag football, golf and fastpitch softball, along with a new e-sports competition in partnership with the University of Houston-Victoria.

Event offerings are subject to change based on registration numbers and other factors.

A pickleball player about to hit a ballThe pickleball competition at Victoria West High School will be TAAF’s official state pickleball championship for the year.

Winners in the pickleball competition will receive a championship ring as well as a medal.

Become a volunteer

A man throws a disc at Riverside ParkThe City is seeking residents to serve as hospitality hosts and tournament support volunteers. Volunteers can choose which sports they want to attend, and every volunteer will receive a free T-shirt and a commemorative 100th anniversary TAAF pin.
