Victoria Public Library Director Jessica Berger and City Manager Jesús A. Garza prepare to untie a ceremonial ribbon to celebrate the opening of the library’s new offsite pick-up locker Feb. 25 at the Victoria Mall. Residents may request library materials to be placed in the locker by visiting the library catalog at www.victoriatx.gov/library, calling 361-485-3301 or emailing vpl@victoriatx.gov. A library staff member will then place the materials in the locker for pickup. The locker is funded by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (Grant # LS-253655-OLS-23) to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (2024).
