Distribution & Collection Manager Austin Anderson and Surface Water Treatment Plant operator Irma Ruiz recently earned their Class A Water System Operator licenses from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The Class A license is the most advanced water system operator license conferred by the TCEQ and reflects Anderson has worked for the City since 2006 and previously held the roles of utility crew chief and utility supervisor. Ruiz has worked for the City since 2017.
Utility line locator Jamie Diaz earned his Class C Distribution Operator and Class 2 Wastewater Collection Operator licenses from the TCEQ. The Class C license is an occupational license certifying that an individual has the necessary training and experience to work in the field of water distribution or to supply water to consumers through a distribution network. The Class 2 license reflects an advanced level of training and experience in the field of wastewater collections. Diaz has worked for the City since 2024.
Surface Water Treatment Plant operator Austin Enfroy earned his Class C Surface Water Treatment Operator license from the TCEQ. The Class C license is an occupational license certifying that an individual has the necessary training and experience to work in the field of surface water treatment. Enfroy has worked for the City since 2020 and previously held the roles of automatic meter reading technician, Surface Water Plant maintenance technician and Surface Water Treatment Plant operator trainee.
Wastewater Treatment Plant electrician Jesse Phillips earned his Class C Wastewater Treatment Operator license from the TCEQ. The Class C license is an occupational license certifying that an individual has the necessary training and experience to work in the field of wastewater treatment. Phillips has worked for the City since 2018 and previously held the role of Wastewater Treatment Plant maintenance technician.
