The City of Victoria Parks & Recreation will host its annual Fourth of July celebration—featuring a car show, cornhole tournament, inflatables, food trucks, live music and a fireworks show—July 4 at the Victoria Community Center grounds.
This event is sponsored by Parks & Recreation and Del Papa Distributing Co.
Before the fireworks show
The event will open at 3:30 p.m. with the following activities:
- Car show hosted by Parks & Recreation and local car clubs
- Kids’ zone with games and inflatables
- Cornhole tournament beginning at 5 p.m.
Four live acts will provide entertainment throughout the evening. Trey Jameson begins his acoustic set at 4 p.m., followed by Pat Matula and the Lone Star Playboys at 4:45 p.m. Chris Zuber Band will perform at 6 p.m., and headliners Rewind Texas will perform 8-9:20 p.m.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase and provided by ten of Victoria’s local food vendors. Ice chests are not allowed.
Fourth of July Blastoff
The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from the Victoria Community Center’s Adult Sports Complex (softball fields) near Ben Jordan Street. The show will feature a combination of aerial and ground-based fireworks.
Music synced to the show will be broadcast over the loudspeakers.
