The Victoria Public Library’s anniversary date is right around the corner, and book lovers of all ages will have plenty of opportunities to take part in the celebration.

“Now that the summer reading program is finished, we will be focusing our efforts on our anniversary celebrations leading up to the Oct. 4 anniversary date,” said Library Director Jessica Berger. “We welcome the community to be a part of celebrating the library’s rich history and making new memories together.”

Through Aug. 15, customers at Evan’s Fire Brick Oven Pizza can try Pete the Cat’s Pepperoni Pizza or Cheesy Chapters Cheese Pizza. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Victoria Public Library.

Library patrons can share their love of their local library with future patrons by contributing to the library’s time capsule. Residents can visit the library Aug. 18-29 to provide a written memory, picture or video recording. The time capsule will also be available for contributions during the “Librarium Nocturne” event in September.
