About the program
The City of Victoria’s grant-to-partnership program for child safety initiatives is funded by the $1.50 child safety fee assessed when residents register their vehicles in Victoria County. This funding must be used for child safety and welfare services as defined by state law.
Local nonprofits that serve children may apply for funding through 5 p.m. Aug. 15. Application forms and guidelines are available at www.victoriatx.gov/childsafetyprogram.
Organizations will be notified of funding decisions Aug. 29.
