The City of Victoria Metropolitan Planning Organization is inviting residents to review and provide input on new proposed routes for Victoria Transit.
The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission, which operates Victoria Transit on the City’s behalf, has developed a comprehensive plan titled “Golden Crescent – Directions for the Future,” which presents detailed goals and strategies for public transportation in the Golden Crescent Region.
As part of this plan, Victoria Transit is proposing the creation of new routes that will expand the coverage area for transit services while helping residents get to their destinations more quickly.
How to provide feedback
Residents can visit www.victoriatx.gov/transitplan to provide feedback and suggest stops on the proposed route map. Residents will also be able to fill out a brief survey describing how they use Victoria Transit and what types of improvements they’d like to see.
The deadline to complete the survey or provide feedback on the map is Oct. 31. The new routes are scheduled to be implemented in early 2026.
