Three Victoria City Council members were recognized during Tuesday’s City Council meeting for their work anniversaries this month.
Councilmember Josephine Soliz has served on the City Council for eight years. Soliz was elected May 12, 2012, and was sworn in May 15, 2012.
Councilmember Jeff Bauknight on Thursday will mark seven years on the City Council. Bauknight was elected May 11, 2013, and was sworn in May 21, 2013.
Councilmember Jan Scott has served on the City Council for five years. Scott was elected May 9, 2015, and was sworn in May 19, 2015.
During the meeting, City Manager Jesús A. Garza thanked the council members for their years of service to the community.
