The Victoria Police Department hosted a private swearing-in ceremony for Keimryn Lee, a local girl fighting cancer, on March 31 at City Hall. The event was attended by Keimryn’s family, members of the Victoria Police Department and other City officials. Keimryn received a framed certificate, a shadow box with a Victoria Police Department patch, a uniform sized to fit her and a gift basket. She also got to sit in a patrol vehicle and operate the lights and radio.
