The City of Victoria is seeking four residents to serve on the Planning Commission.
The commission reviews and approves new residential and commercial developments to ensure that City codes related to platting and site use are properly applied. The commission also approves or denies variance requests for projects that conflict with City code. The commission meets at 5:15 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at the City Council chambers, 105 W. Juan Linn St.
The City Council will appoint three commissioners to serve for three-year terms that will end in August 2027 and one to fill an unexpired term that will end in August 2026.

The deadline to apply is July 31. The City Council will review the applications and appoint the new commission members during an upcoming City Council meeting.
