Doug Rose and Carlos Perez with the City of Victoria Main Street Program hang a banner on a downtown streetlight wishing residents a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. The Victoria Main Street Program is spreading holiday cheer with decorations throughout downtown, including at De Leon Plaza, City Hall and 700 Main Center. The City and the Victoria Fine Arts Association will host a lighting ceremony for the H-E-B Christmas Tree at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at De Leon Plaza.
