As heavy rainfall continues, the City is strongly urging residents not to drive in flooded roadways.
The following roadways have been fully closed due to flooding:
- The Navarro Street underpass
- The Laurent Street underpass
- Ben Wilson Street between Red River Street and Sam Houston Drive
- Red River Street between Ben Wilson Street and Sam Houston Drive
Residents are reminded that this list is not comprehensive and other roads may become impassable due to flooding. If a roadway is flooded—turn around, don’t drown!
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch Victoria and surrounding counties that will remain in effect until 7 p.m.
