Amaya Celine Alvarez, a third-grade student at O’Connor Elementary School, is the winner of a coloring contest hosted by the City of Victoria for Public Service Recognition Week (May 1-7). First- to third-grade students from Aloe Elementary School, Chandler Elementary School, Crossroads Christian School, Mission Valley Elementary School, Nazareth Academy, O’Connor Elementary School, Our Lady of Victory School and Schorlemmer Elementary School participated in the contest. Amaya received a goody bag from the City.
