    Applications

    City of Victoria applications for all VPD positions must be completed online by visiting the City of Victoria Human Resources Job Openings. At this website, prospective applicants must create an account and follow all instructions regarding the position for which they are applying.

    Requirements

    The Police Department must adhere to requirements set out by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) as well as the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services policies.

  • Applicants for Police Officer Trainee with the Victoria Police Department, to be sent to the Victoria College Police Academy by the Victoria Police Department (VPD), must meet the Academy’s physical fitness entrance requirements.
