The City of Victoria collaborated with other public entities representing Victoria and the surrounding region in the areas of government, education, healthcare, and economic development. This group met several times to develop a Request for Proposals that will be used to identify a potential development partner to assist in solving the broadband access and adoption challenges that exist in our area. While the City of Victoria is taking a leading role in the procurement process, each member of the Victoria Broadband Commission is committed to ensuring we find a comprehensive solution that benefits all stakeholders and enhances the livability of our community by meeting the broad spectrum of existing and anticipated needs.
