The City of Victoria’s brand logo represents all of us, along with the residents of our city. We must present it correctly to strengthen our image and build Done Editingpositive recognition for our community.
You must use the following versions of City logos:
If the background color is white or a lighter color, the solid black or full color logo must be used.
If the background color is black or darker color, the white logo must be used.
Regardless of which logo is used, it must have a minimum color contrast ratio to the background of at least 4.5:1.
The full-color logo is our main logo.
The black logo is acceptable on a light background.
The white logo is acceptable on a dark background.
For any promotional efforts that focus specifically on your department and its initiatives beyond the city, the department logo is the most appropriate choice. However, for major citywide events that represent the broader community, it’s important to use the main city logo to ensure a unified voice that reflects the city as a whole.
Do not stretch or size the logo disproportionately.
Do not recreate or modify any elements of the logo.
Do not make the logo translucent in any way .
Do not change the colors of the logo.
(Use only one of the acceptable versions)
Do not reproduce the logo on a slant, vertically, or in any other non-specified way.
Do not use old and retired City Logos (3D Star V)
Note: For those outside the City of Victoria organization, please fill out this form to request access to the City logos.
Our logo has never been more symbolic of the City of Victoria’s recent growth. It’s crucial that we use it thoughtfully and with pride, as it represents something far greater than any of us individually. As Uncle Ben once wisely told Peter Parker, 'With great power comes great responsibility.' Let’s make sure our logo lives up to that legacy!
In an effort to unify the City of Victoria with a 'One Team, One Mission' approach, all designated City departments are represented with the official City logo. Please do not alter the logos in any way.
