Following voter approval on May 3, 2025, the City of Victoria will begin collecting a venue tax to support the renovation and expansion of the Victoria Community Center. As a hotel operating in Victoria, you are required to collect and remit the following:
• A 2% Hotel Occupancy Venue Tax
• A 7% Hotel Occupancy Tax
Beginning October 1, 2025, these taxes must be collected from customers and remitted to the City of Victoria by the 20th of each month, along with a completed remittance form. The City will accept payments via ACH, check, or credit card (3% processing fee).
ACH payment instructions are available upon request. Credit card payments can be made at the Finance Department located at 700 N. Main, Suite 100. Check payments must be made payable to "City of Victoria" and mailed to:
