The Victoria Police Department Administrative office is located in the Public Safety Headquarters building at 2525 N. Street. Administration consists of the Command Staff, an Administrative Assistant and the Professional Standards Unit. The Command Staff currently consists of the Interim Chief of Police, a Deputy Chief and the three Captains who oversee the three divisions of the department; Patrol, Investigations and Support Services.
The Professional Standards Unit is comprised of two officers, a lieutenant who investigates complaints on officers and department employees and a senior officer who manages the department's Texas Police Chiefs Association Best Practices Recognition Program.
