Super District 5/Mayor Pro-Tem - Dr. Andrew Young

Dr. Andrew Young is the City Council representative for Super District 5, which encompasses Districts 1 and 2, and he also serves as Mayor Pro Tem. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a board-certified foot surgeon. He is a podiatrist with Podiatry Associates of Victoria. Originally from Kansas City, he has been a proud Victoria resident since 2001. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Monmouth College and his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Rosalind Franklin University. He is a member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, the Victoria Health Facilities Development Corporation, the Victoria Public Facility Corporation, and the Victoria Housing Finance Corporation Board of Directors. He was first elected to the City Council in 2013.
